BRIGHTER (UK) commits Trimmer-Business to FREUND Germany

Meat- & Fat-Trimming Machine Program was taken over on March 1st 2009

Brighter (UK) Ltd and FREUND Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG are pleased to announce that from 1st MARCH 2009 the entire Worldwide TRIMMING MACHINERY business of Brighter (UK) Ltd is owned by the FREUND Company. Development, Production, Marketing, Sales, Distribution, After-Sales-Services for all models of Endeavour-, Adaptive- and MiniCut-Trimmers are operated from the companies headquarter in Paderborn Germany – taking advantage of the assistance and expertise of the existing worldwide Brighter network of agencies.

The range includes around 20 different styles and sizes of ring-blades from diameter 16 to 128mm. They are propelled by a variety of electric-motors or by means of a newly designed, powerful and very-low-maintenance pneumatic air-motor. Applications reach from the removal of the spinal cord and carcass fat on the slaughterline throughout recovery of meat and controlled fat trimming in the boning room up to chicken thigh deboning for poultry or controlled slicing of smoked salmon or other fish – and many more.

The extension of the FREUND range with trimming machines makes the FREUND slaughter-tool-program unique in the world. With its more than 100 years of experience in the cutting-tool business, FREUND will secure the development of trimming machines. With the expertise in engineering, service and marketing, it will be developed to a successful part of FREUND’s German Quality Slaughter-Tool program.
